Details:
On or about Sunday, January 30th, 2022, around 2:18 in the morning, a suspected DWI accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 3600 block of Northwest Loop 410 in San Antonio, Texas.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly struck by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or tried to cross Northwest Loop 410. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead a short time after the accident. Officials arrested the driver of the passenger vehicle on suspicion of DWI after an evaluation at the scene.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northwest side of San Antonio.
Police are still investigating the accident.
