One Killed in Alleged Drunk Driving Accident on South Flores Street in San Antonio

On or about Sunday, March 27th, 2022, around 12:08 in the morning, an accident with an alleged drunk driver left one person and another person injured. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 660 block of South Flores Street in San Antonio, Texas.

Investigators from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when an SUV allegedly crossed over the center line of South Flores and struck another car in the oncoming lane. The driver of the car was pronounced dead from the injuries they sustained when they were ejected from the vehicle in the crash. A passenger was treated for unspecified injuries.

Officials have since charged the driver of the SUV with intoxication manslaughter in connection with the crash.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the south side of San Antonio.
