On or about Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021, around 2:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a dump truck and a car left one person dead. Deputies from the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened at the intersection of Crestview Drive and Edmonds Road in San Carlos, California.
Troopers from the CHP said one as-of-yet unidentified person died after a Buick passenger vehicle and a dump truck collided under unspecified conditions. First responders pronounced the driver of the Buick dead at the scene of the crash.
According to Google Maps, San Carlos is situated about 24 miles south of downtown San Francisco.
Police expect to release more information at a later date.
