Details:
On or about Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, around 4:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck, a car, and a dump truck claimed the life of a 72-year-old man. Local law enforcement said the accident was reported along Elk River Road in Kanawha County, West Virginia.
State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the car they were driving allegedly struck the back of a dump truck and spun into a nearby pickup truck. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the car dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Kanawha County contains the greater Charleston area.
Police are still investigating.
