On or about Monday, May 17th, 2021, around 2:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a dump truck and a motorcycle left one individual dead. Officials from the SPD said the accident was reported at the intersection of Scottsdale Road and Happy Valley Road in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when their motorcycle and a dump truck collided under unknown circumstances. Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead of his injuries’ a short time after the accident. It is not clear if anybody else was taken to the hospital after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Scottsdale Road and Happy Valley Road is situated on the far northeast side of Phoenix.
