On or about Friday, January 15th, 2021, around 8:00 in the morning, an accident between a car and a dump truck left a 36-year-old woman dead. State Police spokespeople said the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 13/14 and County Line Road in Portage County, Wisconsin.
Law enforcement representatives said a 36-year-old woman died when her car was allegedly struck head-on by a dump truck that crossed the center line of the road to avoid another collision. Emergency responders pronounced the woman dead of her injuries at the scene of the collision. The driver of the dump truck did not report injuries following the crash.
According to Google Maps, Highway 13/14 runs north and south, while County Line Road runs east and west. Portage County is about 93 miles west of Green Bay.
Multiple agencies are investigating the accident.
