Details:
On or about Wednesday, February 9th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a dump truck and a passenger left one woman dead. Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 90 West at the exchange with Pioneer Estates in Bexar County, Texas.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the passenger vehicle she was in was allegedly hit by a dump truck that pulled into her path along Highway 90 West. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the vehicle dead of her injuries a short time after the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their preliminary report on the collision.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Highway 90 West and Pioneer Estates is on the west side of Bexar County.
Officials are still looking into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
