Details:
On or about Monday, November 2nd, 2021, around 2:20 in the afternoon, an accident between a dump truck and a car left one individual dead. Local law enforcement officials said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 176 in Caernarvon Township, Pennsylvania.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the car they were driving allegedly slammed into the back of a dump truck while driving southbound on I-176. Emergency responders pronounced one person in the car dead of their injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 176 winds north and south through Caernarvon Township, which is about 48 miles west of downtown Pennsylvania.
Authorities are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
