On or about Tuesday, July 5th, 2022, around 8:00 in the morning, a serious multi-vehicle accident with a dump truck left one person dead. Troopers from the MSHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 435 in Jackson County, Missouri.
Authorities from the Missouri State Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a dump truck and five other vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident along Interstate 435. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead after the accident, but officials did not specify which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with 87th Street.
Police are still trying to pin down what happened in the crash.
