On or about Tuesday, May 17th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, a serious dump truck accident left one individual dead. Representatives from local law enforcement agencies said the accident was reported along Midland Road in Ohio Township, Pennsylvania.
Officials from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when a dump truck crashed under unspecified circumstances while driving down Midland Road. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead after the accident, but it is not clear if they died at the scene, or if they were rushed to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries a short time later.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Smith Ferry Road.
Police are still investigating the crash.
