Details:
On or about Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, around 6:00 in the morning, a serious accident between a pickup truck and a passenger vehicle left one person dead and sent several others to the hospital. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of Mason Road and Katy Freeway in Houston, Texas.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and five others were injured when a Dodge Ram pickup truck and a Dodge Charger collided at the intersection of Mason Road and the Katy Freeway. Paramedics pronounced one passenger in the pickup truck dead after the accident, while three other occupants were taken to the hospital. along with both drivers.
Authorities have said they believe the driver of the pickup truck may have been intoxicated at the time of the accident.
Police are still investigating.
