Details:
On or about Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, sometime in the nighttime hours, an accident between a box truck and a flatbed truck sent one individual to the hospital. Spokespeople from the SCHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 95 in Colleton County, South Carolina.
Investigators from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the box truck they were driving allegedly struck the back of a flatbed truck that had broken down in the roadway. Emergency responders cut the driver of the flatbed truck from the wreckage and transported him to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity stemming from the crash.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 95 runs runs north and south through the center of Colleton County, which is situated about 53 miles west of downtown Charleston.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
