On or about Saturday, May 21st, 2022, around 1:00 in the morning, a major two-vehicle car accident claimed the life of one individual and sent four other people to the hospital. Representatives from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Dee Gabriel Collins Road in Austin, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and four other people were injured when two passenger vehicles collided under unspecified circumstances along Dee Gabriel Collins Rd. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead of their injuries at the scene, while three adults and a child were taken to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the crash is on the south side of Austin.
Police are still investigating.
