One Killed, Four Injured in Car Accident on West Little York in Katy

On or about Saturday, March 12th, 2022, around 10:15 at night, a serious accident between a Range Rover, a compact SUV, and a passenger vehicle left one person dead and sent four people to the hospital. Officials from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along West Little York Road in Katy, Texas.

Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was killed when the Range Rover she was driving allegedly veered into oncoming traffic and struck a Honda CRV. After the initial collision, a Toyota Camry allegedly collided with one of the vehicles in the previous accident. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the Range Rover dead of the injuries she suffered when she was ejected from the vehicle in the accident. The driver of the Honda, the driver of the Toyota, and two juvenile passengers in the Toyota were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 29 miles west of downtown Houston.

Police are still trying to determine the cause of the accident.
