On or about Wednesday, May 3rd, 2022, around 12:00 in the morning, an accident between a garbage truck and a motorcycle left one individual dead. Troopers from the NCHP said the accident was reported along Highway 152 in Rowan County, North Carolina.
Representatives from the North Carolina Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a motorcycle and a garbage truck collided under unspecified circumstances along Highway 152. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from China Grove.
Police are still investigating the collision.
