Details:
On or about Sunday, December 26th, 2021, around 6:35 in the evening, an accident between a pedestrian and a bus left one individual dead. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Valencia Mesa Drive in Fullerton, California.
Law enforcement spokespeople from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when he was hit by a bus as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of traffic at Valencia Mesa Drive and Harbor Boulevard. Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 26 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles.
Police are still looking into the accident.
