On or about Monday, December 13th, 2021, around 2:30 in the afternoon, a multi-vehicle hit-and-run accident left one person dead. Deputies from the Hood County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Highway 377 in Granbury, Texas.
Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when three vehicles collided under unspecified circumstances on Highway 377. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead from their injuries after the accident, but it is not clear if they died at the scene or after being rushed to the hospital. One of the vehicles fled the scene after the incident.
According to Google Maps, Granbury is about 69 miles southwest of downtown Dallas.
Police are still trying to track down the driver of the vehicle that fled the scene.
