Details:
On or about Wednesday, December 15th, 2021, around 3:30 in the morning, a hit-and-run accident between several vehicles and a pedestrian claimed the life of one individual. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the Interstate 10 service road at the exchange with Foster Road in San Antonio, Texas.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when he was allegedly hit by multiple vehicles that all fled the scene as he was walking alongside or attempted to cross the lanes near I-10 and Foster Road. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead of their injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 10 and Foster Road is on the west side of San Antonio.
Officials are still looking for the vehicles that left the scene.
