Details:
On or about Sunday, March 10th, 2022, around 5:49 in the morning, a major hit-and-run car accident with three vehicles left one individual dead. Local law enforcement officials said the accident was reported along Interstate 10 not far from the exchange with Hawkins Boulevard in El Paso, Texas.
Investigators from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the Pontiac Vibe they were driving was allegedly struck by a Chevrolet Tahoe after a Chevrolet Corvette crashed off the side of the roadway. After the initial impact, the Pontiac Vibe burst into flames. The driver of the Tahoe and the Corvette both fled the scene on foot after the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the east side of El Paso.
Officials are still looking for the drivers who fled the scene.
