Details:
On or about Monday, May 31st, 2022, around 3:00 in the morning, a major hit-and-run accident between a pedestrian and several vehicles left one person dead. Deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Interstate 30 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives from the Fort Worth Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was killed when she was allegedly hit by multiple vehicles as she was walking alongside or tried to cross the lanes of Interstate 30. At least one of the vehicles fled the scene after the initial incident. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Eastchase Parkway.
Officials are still trying to find the drivers and vehicles that fled the scene.
