Details:
On or about Sunday, April 10th, 2022, around 10:20 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Kirkwood Drive near High Star in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified pedestrian was killed when they were allegedly hit by a pickup truck as they were walking alongside or tried to cross the lanes of Kirkwood Drive. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the accident.
According to Google Maps, the 4300 block of Kirkwood Drive is on the west side of Houston.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
