Details:
On or about Friday, January 14th, 2022, around 11:00 at night, a serious hit-and-run car accident left one woman dead. Law enforcement officials from the area said the accident was reported in the 2300 block of West Main Street in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was killed when she was allegedly struck by a passing vehicle as she was walking alongside or near the lanes of West Main Street. After the initial collision with Paramedics pronounced the victim dead of her injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 12 miles east of downtown Dallas.
Police are still trying to track down the car and driver that fled the scene.
