Details:
On or about Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022, around 2:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Spokespeople from the FHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 95 just outside Ormond Beach in Volusia County, Florida.
Representatives from the Florida Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Interstate 95. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
