Details:
On or about Wednesday, April 13th, 2022, around 3:22 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a pickup truck left one person dead and sent another person to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along North Central Expressway in Richardson, Texas.
Deputies from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and another was injured when the vehicle they were in was allegedly struck from behind by a pickup truck. Emergency responders pronounced a passenger in the vehicle dead, while the driver was taken to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 14 miles north of downtown Dallas.
Authorities are still looking into the cause of the accident.
