Details:
On or about Sunday, March 20th, 2022, around 3:00 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one woman dead and hurt a passenger. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Chimney Rock Road not far from the intersection with San Felipe Street in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was killed and a man was injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and slammed into a tree a short distance off the pavement of Chimney Rock Road. Emergency responders pronounced the woman driving the vehicle dead of her injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Chimney Rock Road and San Felipe Street is on the northwest side of Houston.
Authorities are still working to pin down the cause of the accident.
