On or about Monday, June 20th, 2022, around 12:40 in the afternoon, an accident with a suspected drunk driver left one person dead and injured several others. Deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Loop 820 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Officers from the Fort Worth Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and an unspecified number of people were injured when a motorcycle crashed under unspecified circumstances along Loop 820. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
Police have since charged one individual with intoxication assault and intoxication manslaughter in connection with the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Pipeline Drive.
Officials are still investigating.
