Details:
On or about Thursday, October 29th, 2021, around 1:55 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck and a dump truck left one person dead and sent another individual to the hospital. Deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of Lincoln Road and Clevenger Road in Walworth, New York.
Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the pickup truck he was driving allegedly failed to yield at the intersection of Clevenger Road and Lincoln Road when it collided with a dump truck. The driver of the pickup truck died a short time after the collision, while the driver of the dump truck was taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the town of Walworth is about 18 miles east of downtown Rochester.
Officials are still investigating the crash.
