Details:
On or about Monday, January 31st, 2022, around 2:00 in the morning, a major hit-and-run accident between a pickup truck and two pedestrians left one man dead and sent a woman to the hospital. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the parking lot of El Buho Bar on Fuqua Street in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said an as-of-yet unidentified 32-year-old man was killed and a 27-year-old woman was injured when they were both allegedly struck by a pickup truck in the parking lot of El Buho Bar. After hitting the victims, the pickup truck fled the scene. Emergency responders pronounced the 32-year-old man dead a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the north side of Houston.
Police are still trying to track down the pickup truck and driver who fled the scene.
