On or about Tuesday, October 5th, 2021, around 6:02 in the evening, an accident between three cars and a pickup truck towing a flatbed trailer left one person dead. Officials from the NYSP said the accident was reported along Route 36 near the intersection with Cleveland Road in Mount Morris, New York.

Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a pickup truck towing a car on a flatbed trailer allegedly struck two southbound vehicles before it crossed over the center line and struck a northbound vehicle. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the northbound car dead a short time after the collision. A young person in the car was taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.

According to Google Maps, Mount Morris is situated about 60 miles east of Buffalo.

Police are still investigating the accident.
