Details:
On or about Friday, March 11th, 2022, around 5:00 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident left one person dead and sent another person to the hospital. Authorities from the FHP said the accident was reported along Alligator Alley in Collier County, Florida.
Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and another was injured when the tractor-trailer they were in allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and crashed. Paramedics pronounced a passenger in the tractor-trailer dead of their injuries, while the driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Alligator Alley cuts east and west through Collier County.
Police are still investigating the accident.
