Details:
On or about Sunday, August 1st, 2021, around 3:50 in the afternoon, an accident between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer left one person dead and sent another to the hospital. Troopers from the DPS said the accident was reported in the 900 block of North FM 3083 in Conroe, Texas.
Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed and another was hurt when the motorcycle they were on allegedly struck the trailer of an eastbound tractor-trailer on FM 3083. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the motorcycle dead, while the passenger was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, FM 3083 runs along the eastern edge of Conroe, which is about 39 miles north of downtown Houston.
Texas Department of Public Safety assisted at the scene of the incident.
