On or about Thursday, April 6th, 2021, around 3:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left one person dead and sent another to the hospital. Troopers from the PSP said the accident happened along the Gordon Nagle Trail in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.
Deputies from the Schuylkill County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed, and another was injured when a tractor-trailer and a car collided under unspecified circumstances near the intersection with Hillside Road. Police indicated that one of the victims may have been ejected from the vehicle in the crash, while a second person had to be cut free of the wreckage.
