Details:
On or about Friday, February 4th, 2022, around 2:40 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left one woman dead and sent a man to the hospital. Troopers from the ISP said the accident was reported along Highway 20 at the intersection with East 1000 North in Ashton, Idaho.
Sources from the Idaho State Police said one as-pf-yet unidentified woman was killed and a man was injured when the pickup truck they were in allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer that was turning at East 1000 North. Emergency responders pronounced a woman in the pickup truck dead of her injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Ashton is about 53 miles northeast of Idaho Falls.
Multiple agencies are investigating in the accident.
