Details:
On or about Monday, February 8th, 2021, around 10:00 in the morning, an accident between a Mack truck and a tractor-trailer left one person dead and sent another to the hospital. Deputies from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department said the accident happened along Highway 33 in Fox Lake Township, Wisconsin.
Authorities said a tractor-trailer allegedly lost control and jackknifed across the center line of the roadway and struck a Mack truck in the oncoming lanes. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the Mack truck dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer was airlifted to UW Hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 73 miles northeast of Milwaukee.
Police hope to release more information as soon as it becomes available.
