On or about Sunday, November 14th, 2021, around 7:00 in the evening, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 22-year-d man dead and sent a 40-year-old man to the hospital. Representatives from the ISP said the accident was reported along Highway 95 just outside New Meadows in Adams County, Idaho.

Troopers from the Idaho State Police said an as-of-yet unidentified 22-year-old man was killed when the car he was driving and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances. Authorities said the collision was head-on in nature, but did not indicate which vehicle may have crossed over the center line. Paramedics pronounced the 22-year-old driver of the car dead at the scene of the accident. Emergency responders transported the truck driver to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.

According to Google Maps, Highway 95 winds north and south through New Meadows, which is about 120 miles north of downtown Boiese.

Police are still investigating the accident.
