Details:
On or about Thursday, January 13th, 2022, around 10:10 at night, a serious accident between a passenger vehicle and two tractor-trailers left one individual dead. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Interstate 30 just outside Caddo Mills, Texas.
Officials from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the car they were in allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer before it spun into oncoming traffic where it was hit by another semi truck in the opposing lanes. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the car dead of their injuries a short time after the collision. The driver of the second tractor-trailer was also taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Caddo Mills, which is situated about 43 miles northeast of downtown Dallas.
