Details:
On or about Saturday, July 31st, 2021, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident left one person dead and sent another to the hospital. Representatives from the OHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 40 in Caddo County, Oklahoma.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the FedEx tractor-trailer they were driving allegedly veered off Interstate 40 and rolled. The FedEx truck driver was ejected in the crash and died at the scene, while the passenger was rushed to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 40 runs east and west along the northern edge of Caddo County, which is about 51 miles west of downtown Oklahoma City.
State and local law enforcement agencies assisted at the scene of the accident.
