On or about Tuesday, November 9th, 2021, around 7:15 in the morning, a five-vehicle accident including two tractor-trailers left one person dead and sent a second to the hospital. Representatives from the MSP said the accident was reported in the northbound lanes of Interstate 495 in Raynham, Massachusetts.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and another was injured when two tractor-trailers, two pickup trucks, and an SUV collided in a chain-reaction accident that began under unspecified circumstances. Emergency responders pronounced one individual dead after the crash, while another person from one of the pickup trucks was taken to the hospital.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 495 runs north and south through Raynham, which is about 35 miles south of downtown Boston.
