On or about Tuesday, October 12th, 2021, around 7:52 at night, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer left a 35-year-old Milwaukee man dead, and a 27-year-old Milwaukee woman injured. Officials from the WSP said the accident was reported along the northbound side of Interstate 94 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Troopers from the Wisconsin State Patrol said an as-of-yet unidentified 35-year-old man was killed, and a 27-year-old woman was injured when the Volvo SUV they were in allegedly struck a stalled tractor-trailer on northbound I-94. Paramedics pronounced the male driver of the SUV dead after the accident, while his 27-year-old female passenger was airlifted to Froedtert Hospital with significant injuries.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 94 cuts north and south through Kenosha, which is about 40 miles south of Milwaukee.
State and local law enforcement assisted at the scene of the accident.
