On or about Tuesday, February 1st, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between two tractor-trailers left one individual dead. Troopers from the GSP said the accident was reported along the northbound side of Interstate 95 in Liberty County, Georgia.
Representatives from the Georgia State Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the back of an 18-wheeler on the shoulder of the roadway. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the tractor-trailer dead a short time after the accident. Paramedics transported one individual to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 95 runs north and south through the center of Liberty County.
