On or about Thursday, October 7th, 2021, around 7:00 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a heavy-duty truck left one person dead and sent another to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market 1484 in Montgomery County, Texas.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed and another was injured when a pickup truck allegedly veered over the center line of FM 1484 and struck a heavy-duty truck head-on. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the pickup truck dead at the scene. Paramedics transported the driver of the heavy-duty truck to Conroe Regional Hospital where they were last listed in critical condition.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Conroe, which is about 39 miles north of downtown Houston.
