Details:
On or about Tuesday, December 14th, 2021, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a van, a pickup truck and a heavy-duty pickup truck left one individual dead and another injures. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 87 just outside Wall in Tom Green County, Texas.
Officials indicated one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured, while another was injured when a Ford F-550 allegedly sustained a tire blowout on Highway 87 when it crossed into oncoming traffic where it collided head-on with a van and bounced into a nearby pickup truck. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the van dead of their injuries at the scene, while the driver of the pickup truck was treated for unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Wall, which is about 198 miles northwest of San Antonio.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
