Details:
On or about Saturday, June 18th, 2022, around 12:36 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one person dead and sent another person to the hospital. Officers from the EPPD said the accident was reported along North Zaragoza Road in El Paso, Texas.
Local law enforcement officials said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed, while Kendrick Brooks was injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of North Zaragoza and slammed into a pole a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics rushed Brooks and another occupant to a nearby hospital where the second person succumbed to their injuries a short time after their arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the intersection with Montwood.
Police are still working to pin down what happened in the crash.
