On or about Monday, March 14th, 2022, around 2:28 in the afternoon, a major accident between a landscaping truck towing a trailer and a motorcycle left one individual dead. Law enforcement representatives from the FHP said the accident was reported along Tyrone Boulevard at Winchester Road North in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on was allegedly struck by a landscaping truck towing a trailer that had turned onto Tyrone Boulevard. Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the collision. Officials did not mention any other injuries stemming from the incident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Tyrone Boulevard and Winchester Road North is on northwest side of St. Petersburg.
Officials are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
