On or about Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, around 8:30 in the morning, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and a log truck left one person dead. Troopers from the MHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 45 and Highway 388 in Noxubee County, Mississippi.
Officers from the Mississippi Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a log truck allegedly struck the side of a tractor-trailer that was northbound on Highway 45. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead after the collision, but did not specify if they were in the log truck or the tractor-trailer at the time of the collision.
According to Google Maps, the Noxubee County is about 130 miles northeast of Jackson.
