On or about Thursday, May 12th, 2022, a major accident between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer left one person dead and sent a 48-year-old woman to the hospital. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported along Highway 42 in Eyota Township, Minnesota.
Representatives from the Minnesota State Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified man was killed and 48-year-old Lori Ann Jean Danielson was injured when the motorcycle they were on and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances on Highway 42. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead, while Danielson was rushed to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from 19th Street.
Authorities are still investigating the crash.
