On or about Sunday, May 15th, 2022, around 1:41 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle motorcycle accident claimed the life of one individual. Spokespeople from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along U.S. Highway 281 in San Antonio, Texas.
Officers from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified motorcyclist was killed when they allegedly veered off the side of Highway 281 and hit an overpass retaining wall a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders rushed the motorcyclist to San Antonio Military Medical Center where they succumbed to their injuries a short time after their arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Hildebrand Avenue in downtown San Antonio.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
