On or about Monday, April 18th, 2022, around 6:00 in the evening, a major accident between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Deputies from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the eastbound lanes of Interstate 30 in Garland, Texas.
Officers from the Garland Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on and a box truck truck collided under unspecified circumstances along I-30. Emergency responders transported the driver of the motorcycle to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries a short time after their arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from the exchange with Bobtown Road.
