Details:
On or about Thursday, April 28th, 2022, a short time before midnight, a single-vehicle motorcycle accident left one person dead. Representatives from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the exchange of Interstate 45 and Beltway 8 in Houston, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and slammed into a barrier. After the initial accident, the motorcyclist was thrown off an overpass and onto the service road below. Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead of his injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 45 and Beltway 8 is on the north side of Houston.
Police are still looking into the cause of the accident.
