On or about Saturday, April 9th, 2022, around 1:05 in the morning, a major accident between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Authorities from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of Kelly Lane and FM 685 in Pflugerville, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives from the Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on and a passenger vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances at Kelly Ln. and FM 685. Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Pflugerville is about 17 miles northeast of downtown Austin.
Police are still investigating the accident.
